Neuro Linguistic Programming is a process which was devised in the 1970s by a Professor of Linguistics John Grinder and psychology student Richard Bandler.  Their findings were based on the study of the work of two psychologists Fritz Perls and  Virginia Satir and that of Milton H Erickson a world famous psychotherapist and hypnotherapist.

What does Neuro-Linguisitc Programming mean?

Neuro
It is accepted that we experience the world through the neurological processes of our five senses: sight sound, taste, smell and touch.  We then make sense of that information and act on it.

Linguistic
We use language to order our thoughts and behaviour and to communicate with others.

Programming
The programming refers to way we choose to organise our ideas and actions to produce results.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) can help you reframe your way of interpreting your experiences. When used in conjunction with hypnotherapy you will find that NLP exercises can help you access your subconscious mind and start to understand where certain feelings and emotions are rooted in you.  It will help you to break negative belief patterns and expectations you may have about yourself and your life and help you to start focusing on successful outcomes.
